Privacy Policy

How NexVerse Arcade Inc. handles your personal information. Last updated August 20, 2026.

Who we are

NexVerse Arcade Inc. (“NexVerse”, “we”, “us”) operates a virtual-reality arcade entertainment venue in Markham, Ontario, Canada, and the website you are reading this on. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario law.

What we collect

We collect only what you give us directly:

  • Waitlist: your email address and the page you signed up from, when you join the waitlist.
  • Contact form: your name, email address, and the message you send us.
  • Account: your name, email address, and a hashed password when you create an account, plus records tied to your account such as bookings, tournament registrations, and loyalty points.

We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site. We use privacy-respecting page analytics to understand aggregate traffic.

How we use it

  • To tell you when we open and about launch offers, if you joined the waitlist.
  • To reply to messages you send through the contact form.
  • To operate your account: bookings, tournaments, and loyalty rewards.

We send marketing email only where Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) permits it — you can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, and every marketing email we send will include an unsubscribe option.

Where it is stored

Your data is stored in a managed Neon Postgres database hosted on cloud infrastructure in the United States (AWS us-east-1), with access restricted to the venue’s operators and its website contractor. Because the data is stored outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction while stored there.

What we never do

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We disclose it only to service providers who process it for us (such as our database host) or where the law requires.

Your choices and rights

  • Ask us what personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct or delete it, including removing you from the waitlist.
  • Withdraw consent to marketing at any time.

To exercise any of these, email nexversearcade@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the “last updated” date above. Questions? Reach us via the contact page.
